1. Project Manager – Custom Millwork & Installation
Description:
Oversees all phases of residential and commercial projects from design through installation. Manages timelines, budgets, client communication, subcontractors, and material sourcing.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling with design, fabrication, and installation teams
Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and contract terms
Manage client expectations and provide updates
Resolve site issues promptly
Conduct final project walkthroughs
2. Cabinetry & Casework Installer
Description:
Responsible for the professional on-site installation of custom casework, cabinetry, and countertops with high precision and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Install cabinets, laminate surfaces, countertops, and trim
Read blueprints and use measurements accurately
Ensure a clean and secure installation area
Interface with clients and contractors
Identify and address job site issues
3. Millwork Fabrication Specialist
Description:
Fabricates custom millwork components such as trims, moldings, and architectural wood elements using shop tools and machinery.
Responsibilities:
Interpret shop drawings and cut lists
Operate CNC machines, saws, and sanders
Maintain high-quality wood finishes
Ensure measurements and joints are exact
Collaborate with the design and install teams
4. Stone Countertop Fabricator (Granite, Quartz, Cambria)
Description:
Cuts, finishes, and polishes stone surfaces for countertops and surfaces in residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
Operate bridge saws, polishers, and routers
Read templates and drawings for precise cuts
Match seams and grain patterns
Apply edge profiles and finishes
Maintain safe handling of stone materials
5. Cabinet Refacing Technician
Description:
Specializes in transforming existing cabinetry by applying new laminate surfaces, veneer, or new doors and drawer fronts.
Responsibilities:
Remove and reface cabinetry components
Apply laminate or veneer finishes
Replace hinges, hardware, and drawer boxes
Ensure a clean and efficient work area
Communicate with homeowners during installation
6. Custom Cabinet Designer
Description:
Designs functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry and countertop solutions using CAD and design software tailored to client needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site measurements and consultations
Create detailed shop drawings and renderings
Collaborate with project managers and installers
Recommend materials, colors, and finishes
Adjust designs based on feedback or site limitations
7. Shop Lead / Production Supervisor
Description:
Leads daily operations in the fabrication shop, ensuring team productivity, workflow efficiency, and product quality.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support shop staff
Maintain schedule and material tracking
Conduct quality control inspections
Resolve fabrication issues or material shortages
Train new team members on safety and procedures
8. Laminator Technician
Description:
Handles lamination processes, including bonding high-pressure laminate (HPL) or veneer to wood panels, ensuring surface quality and durability.
Responsibilities:
Operate glue spreaders and press machines
Trim, sand, and finish laminated panels
Inspect for bubbles, warping, or defects
Maintain lamination tools and the environment
Understand adhesives, curing times, and temperatures
9. Field Measure Technician
Description:
Conducts site visits to collect accurate field measurements for cabinetry, millwork, and countertop installations.
Responsibilities:
Use laser or manual measurement tools
Create measurement reports and templates
Identify potential installation challenges
Communicate findings to design and production
Occasionally assist in templating for stone countertops
10. Administrative & Client Services Coordinator
Description:
Serves as the first point of contact for clients, manages scheduling, and assists with project coordination and documentation.
Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries and scheduling
Maintain project documentation and updates
Coordinate between clients, designers, and installers
Assist with material orders and deliveries
Track job progress and report updates to stakeholders
